DEC.14.2011 The Holidays are in the headlights and over here at playasville, we prepare for a busy year in 2012 as-well. Last night, L.C finished his debut album “Best In The City” as it is set to be released January 27th. That very same day Playasville ENT will host a show at the KBD hall to celebrate the release with live show featuring talented musicians, bands and individuals. Set to perform tracks off his album Charlie Burgess, also local talents Dani Robert, Jeff Allen and local metal band We Sleep At Dawn. Very excited to have them all come out and showcasing their music! Coming from out of town we have Shots from Detroit, Michigan. Shots has been collaborating with playasville for almost 4 years now and we are stoked to have him attend our show. Coming from Sarnia Ontario we have the up and coming duo The Cassidy’s, who have amazing stage presence and very heartfelt songs that set them out from other hip hop acts. Its going to be a night to remember. We also have radio personal/host Andrew Bell MC’ing the night! A big thanks to him for the continued support and for actually playing our music when no one else locally will! a BIG thank you to everyone that support us and all the acts performing that night! Its been just over a week since we last updated. Big news. Playasville’s very own Charlie Burgess(AKA L.C.) will OFFICIALLY release his debut album “BEST IN THE CITY” on January 27th 2012 and Playasville Entertainment will be hosting a show at the KBD Hall in Chatham, Ontario, Canada in conjunction with his release. We are unable to release who will performing as of yet as performers will be announced in the next couple of days. We can tell you that Charlie will be performing with some of the best new and upcoming talent locally (Chatham) and also inviting a few friends and affiliate’s from Detroit, Michigan and Sarnia, Ontario. The album will be released digitally on ITUNES and hard copies will be sold at the event. Hope you are as excited and us! The second single has dropped and we went straight to video with this one. I hope everyone enjoys the visual and the concept of the track. Its unlike any track Charlie has ever recorded and unlike any video I(J.b.) have done. Thank you to our friend Brittany who is the actress in the video. With out you, the visual would have been impossible and you were a blast of fun to work with. A little background on this track, we actually had it recorded before the first single “SWAG”. Again produced by James Browning.
We have a big announcement coming in the next days. Depending how you look at the situation it can be good or bad news. To us its good news. But that is all we are able to release for now.
This last Thursday(Oct.10th) L.C. and I were in the studio with Will Playfoot
and Scott Caron of The Black Watch working on a remix track for the upcoming album “Best In The City”. We had a great time working with them on this track! Its a whole new spin on things.

The Devils Night show was awesome! Thanks you to everyone that came out and showed support. Thanks to Sonic Doom for hosting the show! Charlies set was the best sound hes had all year. The Black Watch played a killer set as well! I have a few videos from Charlies set posted below.
In other news, we are in the middle of shooting a music video for Charlies second single from “Best In City” coming December 20th on ITunes and more. The track is called “Girl(It’s Alright, It’s Okay)”. We have one more day left of filming tomorrow. Expect the unexpected when it comes to this single, as it is also produced by James Browning(Me).
The Black Watch are on a small break from shows writing new material to play live. A new drummer means a new sounds from the band. They tell me to expect a more death metal sound.

This song mainly revolves around the chorus which grabs your attention and really brings this song alive with it’s vocal.
The rest of the song has a Snoop Dogg backing vibe to it, similar to ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’. It’s a simple formula that allows room for the lyrics to flow.“

Its was only time before it actually went down as Willy Playfoot guitar player for the band has already performed with L.C. last Canada Day.
